Our community has been through a lot during the COVID-19 outbreak, and while many things have changed, our commitment to your safety has not. As we open up for appointments with limited hours, we will be practicing safe procedures to ensure everyone's safety.
Our office follows strict infection control policies made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In addition to these standard protocols, we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. You may see some of these changes when it comes time for your next appointment, for example:
Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
Touch-less thermometers will be used for screening purposes
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients and we ask that non-essential members remain in their vehicle if possible.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office
Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
Air purifiers have been installed in each operatory room and in all common areas
We ask that if you are sick, coughing, not feeling well, or if you have traveled to any area outside the US within two weeks of your scheduled appointment, to please reschedule at no charge.
